NEACAP Seventh Meeting of the Science and Policy Committee and Technical Centers

The Seventh Meeting of the Science and Policy Committee (SPC-7) under the North-East Asia Clean Air Partnership (NEACAP) will focus on finalizing the NEACAP Work Plan for 2026–2030, which outlines the strategic priorities, actions, and modalities for the next five years. The finalized Work Plan will be submitted to the 28th Senior Officials Meeting (SOM-28) of the North-East Asian Subregional Programme for Environmental Cooperation (NEASPEC), scheduled for 22–23 September 2025 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
In addition to the Work Plan discussion, SPC-7 will also address preparations for NEACAP-related events and activities to be held in conjunction with SOM-28. These include the second NEACAP Policy Dialogue and a national workshop, which aim to strengthen science-policy linkages and promote knowledge exchange on emerging air quality issues across the subregion.
The meeting will bring together SPC members and representatives of designated Technical Centers to collectively shape the future direction of NEACAP’s efforts in fostering clean air cooperation in North-East Asia.
